The Empty Room

What is happening

I donโ€™t understand

Why canโ€™t I leave

For my own safety

I am told

๐ŸŒ‘

Twenty four hours

locked in that room

Nothing apart from

my thoughts and

frequent assessors

๐ŸŒ‘

A thousand thoughts

come and go

Will I ever be allowed

to leave

What are they saying about me

๐ŸŒ‘

As sanity returns

Panic sets in

What have I done

OMG what have I done

๐ŸŒ‘

The final assessment

Clarity and rationality is back

I answer the questions

Am allowed to go home

๐ŸŒ‘

Little did I realise that my

journey had just begun
