Eye contact
One of those challenges
in life
๐
For some it comes
so easily
For me my eyes donโt comply
๐
Eye contact
A daily battle
Or maybe
a contact sport
Just a few rambling pieces of poetry

Eye contact
A daily battle
Or maybe
a contact sport
A good write

I love eye contact, when I used to be a sales rep I had to be careful not to give too much eye contact to some people because not everyone likes eye contact ๐

I must admit I do find it uncomfortable unless I know the person well. I think a lot of it is shyness as Iโm very introverted! ๐

I always look for eye contact and never thought someone else wouldnโt be. How naive of me. Thanks for connecting. I love your words.

Iโm shy and introverted so maybe itโs that. Otherwise I have no clue!

Yeah me too, and I fight it and then kick myself when I flounder. ๐ฆ

Excellent poem and one I can relate to as I’ve always been shy.

Eye contact is hard sometimes. Especially if the person you’re communicating with is harsh and intimidating. By the way, Iโve nominated you for the Mystery Blogger Award because I think your blog is terrific and that you deserve it!

I agree. Also some of us for whatever reason are uncomfortable with it. I have to make a conscious effort.
Many thanks for your comment on my blog and the nomination! ๐

4-5 seconds ๐๐ฅด
To maintain appropriate eye contact without staring, you should maintain eye contact for 50 percent of the time while speaking and 70% of the time while listening. This helps to display interest and confidence. Maintain it for 4-5 seconds. Once you establish eye contact, maintain or hold it for 4-5 seconds.Dec 31, 2012
