Bob the Caterpillar

awoke on a stinging nettle

he knew to survive

he would need all his

mettle

🌑

Bob munched and crunched

until his tummy was full

His cocoon was glued with silk

rather than

wool

🌑

After a few days sleep

Bob awoke to find

he was now a Butterfly

bright coloured

beautifully streamlined

🌑

Bob took to the air

leaving the meadow once home

It was time to explore

wander

and roam

        He is so cute he is so perfect I thought I was just crazy about things with little feet or feathers or fur . my favorites German Shepherd dogs or horses. I have kitty cats I take care of kitties🦋🐛 beautiful birds anybody that comes to the house that needs something to eat or drink or safety or surgery but I never really thought about looking in the little face of somebody like Bob . my husband once told me he was working in a jazz club in New York a big function was going on and my husband went into the men’s bathroom , close the door to get a break from all the music and entertainment and he saw a little mouse run by , the 🐀🐁mouse stopped and looked at GENE and at that moment he was looking at the mouse the mouse was studying Gene , he thought out loud , are you me and Am I you .
