The four seasons
our moods
π
Spring
hope for the new dawn of light
π
Summer
basking in the glorious light
π
Autumn
the slow spiral downward towards darkness
π
Winter
the feeling of the cold chill of darkness
π
Then a new year
the cycle begins afresh
π
Whilst we wish for perpetual summer
Very nice. stay safe

Thank you and please stay safe too. We are now locked down in the UK so Iβm stuck in my home cocoon! π

I like the changing of seasons…how boring it would be if always the same

It’s relieving and relaxing your ability to capture a moment in nature in concise yet evocative way.
Thanks for posting.

This is a very nice poem and all, but I’m from India and I wouldn’t wish for a perpetual summer. It’ll melt us all tbhπΆ but a short and sweet poem nevertheless π

I love your poem, although I am a three-season girl. Perpetual anything but summer would be my choice.
