No way it’s NOT going to break canon. It’s going to have him adventuring and running into Anakin when he’s supposed to be in hiding & watching Luke.
If I’m a Sith lord like Anakin and I find out the guy who put me in a life support suit is still around, I’m going to chase him like a rabid dog.
All of that doesn’t mean we can’t have a really good story though. Disney did BAD with the movies but has done fabulous with the Streaming shows thus far.
